HOW TO MAKE GRILLED FRESH TUNA

Prepare the fennel:
Thinly slice the fennel bulb and set aside
Keep the fennel fronds if you want to garnish the dish later.
Toast the pine nuts:
In a small, dry pan, toast the pine nuts over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fragrant.
Remove from heat and set aside
Grill the tuna:
Rub the tuna steaks with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Grill the tuna for about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your liking.
The center should remain slightly pink for the best flavor and texture

Assemble the dish:
Toss the sliced fennel in a bowl with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and a little salt
Place the grilled tuna on a serving plate and top with the fresh fennel salad
Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts over the tuna and fennel, garnish with fennel fronds if desired, and serve immediately
